Terms and conditions

1. Introduction
This document describes the current terms and conditions for subscriptions at our dance studio. By signing up, you agree to these terms. Our goal is to ensure a clear and mutual agreement between the studio and you as a member.

2. Conclusion of agreement
The subscription takes effect when you sign up via our website or at the studio. Once the agreement has been concluded, you will receive a receipt by email with details of your registration.

3. Subscription types
We offer the following types of membership:
A. Fixed-term subscription (annual subscription)
This subscription covers a specific period of 11 months and gives access to classes during that period.
Payment can be made as a single lump sum at the start of the season or in 11 monthly installments.
If you choose to pay in installments, you are obligated to pay the full amount, even if you do not attend classes.
The subscription cannot be terminated early.
If you sign up in the middle of a season, you pay installments until the end of the season. This means you are not obligated to pay for a whole year, but only for the remainder of the season. The amount is divided equally over the remaining months, and the subscription automatically expires at the end of the season.
Please note: Payment of the entire subscription amount at once is only offered for a limited period at the start of the season. After this, monthly instalments are used as a basis for the rest of the season.

B. Monthly subscription without commitment
This subscription is paid on a monthly basis and can be terminated in writing no later than the 15th of a calendar month.
Cancellation must be made in writing via email and is only valid once we have confirmed receipt.
If the cancellation is received after the 15th, it will only take effect at the end of the following month.
Regardless of cancellation, the subscription will automatically end at the end of the agreed period (no later than June 1), and payment will then cease.

 

C. Drop-in classes and loyalty cards
In addition to subscriptions, we offer the following flexible solutions:
Drop-in classes: Paid for and used individually. Once a drop-in class has been paid for and used, the service is considered delivered and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Loyalty cards: These provide access to a number of classes and can be used flexibly within the validity period (except for workshops and events). Once the card has been purchased, the service is considered delivered. Unused clips are not refundable, and the card is personal and cannot be transferred to others.

Individual membership
Membership is individual and cannot be shared with others. Registration for multiple classes is personal and may not be used by more than one person. Misuse of membership may result in exclusion from the studio without refund.

4. Payment and invoicing
A. For annual subscriptions:
You can either pay the entire amount at once or in 11 monthly installments.
If you choose to pay in installments, you are obligated to pay for the entire period, even if you do not attend.
The installments will be automatically deducted from your chosen payment method.
If you sign up in the middle of the season, you only pay for the remaining part, divided into equal monthly installments. The subscription ends automatically on June 1.
Note: Payment of the entire subscription amount at once is only offered for a limited period at the start of the season. After that, monthly installment payments are used as a starting point for the rest of the season.

B. For monthly subscriptions without commitment:
You pay monthly, and the amount is automatically deducted.
You can cancel with notice no later than the 15th of a calendar month (see section 3).

Late payment:
In the event of non-payment, access to the dance studio may be temporarily closed until the amount owed is paid.

5. Termination and Renewal
A. Fixed-term subscription with commitment (annual subscription)
Annual subscriptions run from the start of the season until June 1 and cannot be terminated early. The subscription is paid either in full at the start of the season or in installments, and payment for the entire period is binding—regardless of attendance.
The subscription automatically expires at the end of the agreed period (June 1), unless the member actively chooses to renew.
Payments are automatically deducted according to the chosen payment method (lump sum or monthly installments).
No notice of termination is required to stop at the end of the season.
When registering in the middle of the season, only the remaining portion is paid, divided into equal monthly installments, and the subscription automatically expires on June 1.
Putting the subscription on hold (annual subscription only)
In special cases, such as illness or injury, annual subscriptions can be put on hold:
Hold period: Up to 2 months.
Agreed in writing via email with the studio.
The subscription will automatically resume when the hold period expires.
B. Monthly subscription without commitment
This subscription is paid month by month and can be terminated with notice no later than the 15th of a calendar month.
The cancellation must be sent in writing via email and is only valid once we have confirmed receipt.
If the cancellation is received after the 15th, it will take effect at the end of the following month.
Regardless of cancellation, the subscription will automatically end at the end of the agreed period (no later than June 1), and payment will then cease.
Please note: The rules on early termination and holding periods only apply to installment and annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions without a binding period can be terminated in writing no later than the 15th of the month as described in section 3.B.

6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Agreement Act, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when signing up for a subscription online. The right of withdrawal applies from the day you enter into the subscription agreement and must be exercised in writing within this period.

 

Extended right of withdrawal – annual subscription
As an extra service, we offer a 30-day right of withdrawal for annual subscriptions, valid from the date of registration or from the start of the season if you register before the start of the season.
If you participate in classes within this period, the amount paid cannot be refunded, but monthly payments will be stopped upon receipt of written notice of termination. When exercising the right of withdrawal, an administration fee of 8% will be deducted, as well as payment for hours used (corresponding to monthly payment or Drop In price).

Right of withdrawal for monthly subscription without commitment
This subscription can be terminated in writing with notice no later than the 15th of the month and is therefore not covered by the extended right of withdrawal of 30 days. The termination must be sent by email and is only valid once it has been confirmed by the studio.

Services without right of withdrawal
Drop-in hours: Paid for and used individually. Cannot be refunded or exchanged after payment. Drop-in hours are personal and cannot be transferred to others.


Loyalty card: Upon purchase, the service is considered delivered. Unused clips are not refundable, and the card cannot be transferred. The card is personal and cannot be transferred to others.


Workshops and one-off events: Registration and payment are binding with no possibility of refund, as places are limited and preparation time is required.


Refund fee
A 8% administration fee will be charged for refunds, which will be deducted from the refunded amount. The fee covers the processing and administration of the cancellation or withdrawal.

Contact in case of withdrawal and cancellation
To exercise your right of withdrawal or cancel your subscription, you must contact us in writing by email at info@houseofmomentum.com. Cancellations are only valid upon written confirmation from us.

 


7. Purchase of Clothing and Merchandise
When you purchase clothing or merchandise from our dance studio, the following terms apply to exchanges and returns:
Exchanges: We offer exchanges of goods within 14 days of the purchase date, provided that the item is returned in unused and undamaged condition with all tags intact. To complete an exchange, you must present the original receipt or invoice. We do not offer refunds, but you have the option to exchange the item for a different size, color, or another item of the same value.
Condition of the item: We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the item shows signs of use, such as:
Stains, wear, or damage
Odors such as perfume, deodorant, sweat, or smoke
Missing tags or original packaging

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Dansestudiet reserves the right to change the terms and conditions with reasonable notice. Changes will be announced via email or on the website, and members will have the opportunity to accept the new terms and conditions or cancel their subscription before the changes take effect.


9. Disclaimer
Dansestudiet cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss of property that may occur during classes or while on the premises. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are physically able to participate in the classes. We recommend that you consult a doctor if in doubt.

10. Personal Data Policy
We process your personal data in accordance with the applicable Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect information necessary to administer your subscription and do not share data with third parties without consent.

11. Disputes and Complaints
We strive to provide high-quality teaching and service. If you experience problems or are dissatisfied, we encourage you to contact us directly.
Complaints must be sent in writing to our email or via the website.


We strive to respond to your inquiry within 14 days.


Disputes that cannot be resolved directly may be brought before the Consumer Complaints Board. In the event of continued disagreement, the case will be brought before the Danish courts.
